Yay! New Bags!

Loyalist Messenger Bag

There is light at the end of the tunnel! The kit bags are almost done and the patterns are in Illustrator and ready to go to the printer’s. Now, how do you like that? There are three kit packages in total in four different colorways. They are all 100%  cotton; the printed fabrics are cotton twill by Waverly.

“Ginger” is a small clutch with a rounded frame suggested for the beginner, the Holly, a square-ish, Kelly-style frame bag is for the more adventurous and  the Loyalist Messenger, which is aimed at more confident sewers. Each level presents new bag making techniques. Full instructions with color photos are included…like a bag-making workshop in every kit! I hope folks will enjoy them as much as I have.

At the same time, I’ve been booking insurance, parking, hotel rooms, move-in dates and blah-betty blah blah blah. What a shebang! Next, I’m off and running on the knitting bags. I’ve drafted three bag styles and two needle book styles. I’ve built basic prototypes but, well, there are bugs to iron out. I’ll keep you posted 😀

They do look great. Keep up the good work and I know you will iron out the wrinkles with the knitting bags.
