From dawn to well after dark, it was a wonderful day. Mother Nature cooperated, providing one of the last, gloriously sunny and warm days of the summer. We ate, drank and made merry with our wonderful family and had an impromptu visit from neighbors. For the first time in about 4 days, every dish is finally clean!
Sadly, I neglected to serve my peach pie, gosh darn it!
Needless to say, yesterday was something of a write-off for me as far as work was concerned. I did manage to get everything stowed away finally and had a good chunk of time in the afternoon to pull out my top 3 WIPs. I got halfway through the last front piece of the Dundurn cardigan, through an entire color change on the socks and just about finished the first sleeve of Timberline. Not bad for a ‘snow-day’ 🙂
