Hello, knitters! Sorry to have been so absent from my little corner of the internet. The last couple of weeks have been filled with packing and traveling, not to mention 26 (count em!) brand new design proposals for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. I’m all out of breath!
Today, I’m writing from a little cottage in the forests of Upstate New York. What a change from the fetid heat and questionable aroma of New Orleans at this time of year! This crisp and breezy morning, my power walk took me along a pretty country road where I absolutely reveled in fresh cool scents. Lovely!
I’ve got a couple of interesting sneak peeks for you today. Though it has seemed quiet here, much has been taking place below the surface. As of yesterday when KnitScene Fall 2018 went live on line (can you believe it! Fall!?!), I have a new pullover out in the world. The Olivia pullover features a mighty big cable right down the front! I’ll be talking a whole lot more about this on Monday when I can release the photos.
A second sneak preview includes my Maizie Pullover, a cool fingering weight sweater in 100% linen. I am so excited to finally be releasing this pattern! It has been a long time coming with many twists and tweeks, but I think Maizie has developed into a real pleaser. I’ll be releasing Maizie on Friday, July 6, just one week from today. I hope you’ll pop by because this pattern will be free for 24 hours.
