Brewster Cardigan

$9.00

A snuggly, warm cabled cardigan just in time for the big cold! Brewster is made for anyone who enjoys wrapping up in cables and shawl collars for the winter months ahead. There is something so hip and vintage about garter textured cables! Homespun garter and retro cables conjure up the City Light Bookstore in the 60’s and 70’s and wandering the foggy streets of San Francisco. Combine these with a wide shawl collar and classic bottom-up raglan shaping and you have Brewster, a cool, modern take on your Dad’s go-to sweater that is sized for every one. Two-stitch cables filled with garter stitch sit in relief on a background of reverse stockinette. They’re repeated on the raglan sleeves and devolve in to deep ribbing at the hem and cuffs. Ribbing also edges the knitted-in pockets.

This seamless cardigan is worked from the bottom up with raglan shaping and clever button band and pocket construction.
