Jones by Tin Can Knits

Isn’t it great when a plan comes together? The little Otto sweater made it’s way to Copenhagen and huzzah! It fits! It’s so hard to tell what’s going to fit an infant, despite one’s best efforts to “think forward” and plan for their growth during the knitting process.

Otto's Sweater

Jones by Tin Can KnitsThis pattern was such a pleasure to knit. It is Jones by Tin Can Knits and is worked in Quince & Co. Chickadee in the Winesap color way. (The hat was an after thought.) It flew off the needles; I was always fully engaged…there was always something interesting to do. And Chickadee yarn is so delightfully bouncy and squishy and round that it never disappoints.

So, I’m hoping it will serve our little Otto well and will be passed on to other babies when he’s outgrown it 🙂

Carl is off yarn shopping for me in Copenhagen today! So exciting! I am particularly interested in their local Arwetta Sock Solids, Kauni of course and some of that cool Onion yarn made from nettles. It will be very interesting to see what he chooses!

Later today, I’ll be knitting at Miss Bette’s…Bornside Yarns from 4 – 6 then off to Stitch n Bitch NOLA at the Bean Gallery, Carrollton and Orleans from 7 – 10. See you there!
