Good morning, knitters! Suddenly, without a single word of warning, WordPress has changed the entire interface of my blog. Of all days, I really wish that today WordPress would work as expected. I didn’t expect this change and I’m taken a little off guard so I hope you’ll forgive my lack of wordiness.
Just popping in to introduce you to a brand new pattern, the Sackets Harbor Hat, a happy partner to the Sackets Harbor Mittens. This is an easy fair isle hat with just two colors. I hope you enjoy it!
During my summer sojourns, Sacket’s Harbor is the first signpost once I’ve left the interstate. It’s a quiet gem, the first leg of the Seaway Trail, and offers gorgeous, cool Lake Ontario vistas. It has a slightly retro vibe with roadside bars and cafes closed years ago by the building of I-81. I love it, and I often fantasize about how it must look in the off-season, foggy and damp with big fat snowflakes falling on icy waters. That’s my inspiration for the Sackets Harbor Hat and the matching Sackets Harbor Mittens.
Today, please enjoy both patterns. Pop over to my Ravelry shop, drop the Sackets Harbor set into your cart and take 50% off with the coupon code SACKETS2. Happy knitting.
