Mini Kringle Caps

Up To My Old Tricks

We’re entering the home stretch! Dinners and parties are planned, shopping is done, house is decorated, what could she get up to next? Well. These.

Kringle Kaps

I just couldn’t help myself! I’ve whipped up these little Kringle Kaps for a dinner party we’re giving to welcome our friend Gwen who’s coming to spend the holidays with Miss Laura and I. I am cooking this time and I am responsible for the table. I’m hoping to include a little hat at every place setting. I’m not quite sure how, but I know they’ll be adorable!

Kringle Kaps

These little hats could be tree ornaments, wine bottle toppers or soft boiled egg warmers. Use them to embellish a gift if you like! They use just a teeny bit of yarn (with the exception of the pompoms which always use more yarn than I think). You can knock a mini hat out in about an hour. I’ve made mine from sock weight yarn, but there’s no reason at all why they couldn’t be made out of heavier yarn; just be aware that the hat will turn out larger than these itty bitty ones. I thought you might enjoy a last minute knit, so I’d like to share the pattern for Kringle Kaps here. Click the “Print” button to print. If you have trouble printing, check out these helpful tips. (Note that this is an off-site pattern and will not be stored in your Ravelry library.)

Happy Christmas and happy knitting, y’all!

I think this Kringle Caps are adorable! I’d love to print the pattern but it comes out on multiple pages with some info half printed. I even tried copy and paste, changed it into a pdf, copied and pasted the pdf contents 🙁 sad day.

Thank you for your advice – I ended up doing what all computer geeks tell you to do: Shut it all down, unplug it and let it sit for a few minutes. The computer printing poltergeist disappeared and normal printing resumed. I’m starting my Kringle Kaps for next year!
