Following is a list of standard abbreviations:

• P: Purl
• St(s): Stitch(es)
• K2tog: Knit 2 stitches together
• P2tog: Purl 2 stitches together
• Tog: together
• Beg: Beginning
• BOR: Beginning of round
• CO: Cast on
• Dec: Decrease
• Inc: Increase
• Pm: Place marker
• Sm: Slip marker
• Rm: Removable marker
• Rnd(s): Round(s)
• Sl: Slip
• Skp: Slip 1 stitich, knit 1 stitch, pass slipped stitch over
• Ssk: Slip 1 stitch, slip a second stitch, knit these two slipped stitches together
